Meet Amelie

I am a supportive and empathetic therapist and look forward to working with you to help you achieve your goals. I work with children, teens, couples and individual adults.
While completing my Masters degree in Counseling, I worked as a Special Education teacher’s aide and then as a substitute teacher. These positions allowed me to gain experience working with children and teens.
I completed my practicum at an agency working with underserved populations. I was able to further my experience working with trauma, anxiety, stress and substance use.
I have experience working with youth in the foster care system and currently see clients from 6 years on up. I also have special interest in helping clients with acculturation and provide culturally sensitive therapy. I view the client's background, ethnicity, and belief systems to inform my work as a multicultural therapist.
I am an eclectic therapist and incorporate several therapeutic techniques including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, parts work and mindfulness into my practice. Although I work with a wide variety of clients, I have special interest in trauma- PTSD and complex PTSD.
I taught yoga and meditation for 10 years at various studios in Orange County. These experiences have proven to blend perfectly with my job as a trauma-informed therapist where somatic work plays a significant role in healing.
I am originally from France and am a multilingual therapist. I am fluent in French, German, Spanish and also speak basic Farsi. When I am not working, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family.
I am currently supervised by Beth Holder, LMFT while working towards full licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
I accept Cigna as an in network provider and my rate is $150 for a 50 minute session.
