Meet Mia "Elowyn" Udarbe-Gustafson
I am a supportive and empathetic therapist and look forward to working with you to help you achieve your goals. I work with children, teens, couples and individual adults.
While completing my Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, I worked at a crisis stabilization unit. This position allowed me to gain valuable insight and experience working with adolescents, adults and family unit.
I have a wide array of experience working with kids ages 6+, neurodivergent kids and adults and also worked for a sexual assault hotline. I am an LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist. I also have special interest in perinatal mental health and enjoy working with pregnant and postpartum individuals and couples. I view the client's background, culture and belief systems to inform my work as a therapist.
I am an eclectic therapist and incorporate several therapeutic techniques including comprehensive dialectical behavioral therapy model, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, motivational interviewing and EMDR.

I have a graduate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from University of Massachusetts Global and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Child and Adolescent Development from Cal State University Fullerton.
When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my family.

I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. I accept Cigna and United Health Care. My rate is $150 for a 50 minute session. I am supervised by Beth Holder LMFT as I gain hours towards licensure.
