Therapy with me is rooted in connection.

Hi, I'm glad you're here.

I'm Rachel Codde, an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. I've had the privilege of walking alongside clients navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD, relationship challenges, and the kind of life transitions that can leave you feeling overwhelmed — working with children, adolescents, adults, and families along the way.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and rooted in meeting you exactly where you are. I lean on person-centered therapy as my foundation, and I bring in somatic techniques, mindfulness, and evidence-based interventions when they fit what you need — because healing isn't one-size-fits-all, and neither is my approach to it. I've trained in somatic work, play therapy, couples therapy, ADHD, and trauma-informed practices, and I'm continuing to build on that foundation through ongoing training and supervision.

I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Chapman University. Before joining Holder Wellness, I trained at the Free Clinic of Simi Valley, where I supported clients through crisis, risk assessment, and everyday struggles — and was promoted to Senior Therapist Trainee for the trust I built with the team and the clients I served.

At the end of the day, I believe therapy works best when it's honest, safe, and genuinely collaborative. My goal is to create a space where you feel seen and heard — not rushed, not judged, just supported — so that together we can work toward the kind of growth that actually sticks. I'm currently supervised by Beth Holder, LMFT and Tiffany Osterhaudt, LMFT as I work toward full licensure.
